ABOUT THE COURSE:
This comprehensive home study course covers the full range of HVAC systems used in today's facilities. It provides you a complete picture of how HVAC systems operate. Systems are divided into components for air, water, heating and air conditioning to clearly illustrate the way in which each system, subsystem, or component contributes to providing the desired indoor environment. You'll learn the factors that determine why one component or system may be chosen over another with respect to application, energy conservation, indoor air quality and cost. You’ll learn about heat flow and the heat flow calculations that are used in selecting equipment and determining system operating performance and costs. This stand alone online training course is for anyone new to the HVAC industry or anyone who wants to learn more about systems and components.
Participants in the course include: business managers, energy and HVAC reps for utility companies, employees of government and energy service companies, marketing and sales reps of HVAC equipment and services, industrial hygienists working with ventilation and exhaust systems, building engineering and facility managers.

The HVAC Systems Home Study Course is on CD. The course is designed to be interactive between student and instructor. You are always encouraged to discuss any questions you have about HVAC as related to the course as well as actual on-the-job TAB, IAQ, Cx or EM. After completion of each Lesson answer the questions on the quiz for that Lesson and email the answers. The graded quiz will be returned with comments. When you have completed all the Lessons and have made a grade of 70 or above on each of the quizzes you will receive a signed and numbered Certificate of Completion and 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU).

About Your Instructor, Sam Sugarman:
