The Application provides an organized method for documenting professional and educational background. Applicants are requested to list on the Application all pertinent information in these categories for evaluation by the CTAB Board. It is essential that applicants devote time and effort to completing the Application since certification by the CTAB Board can be based only on the information provided.

The Application form is divided into Education and Experience in testing-adjusting-balancing. The CTAB Board must have a clear understanding of the applicant’s experience. Should applicants have doubts about their work experience prerequisite for certification, they can have their Application reviewed by the CTAB Board prior to taking the Exam. The effective practice of testing-adjusting-balancing requires an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of subjects.  However, the candidate need only demonstrate to the satisfaction of the CTAB Board the knowledge and ability to apply the essentials of testing-adjusting-balancing. It is therefore important that all applicants give clear and complete details concerning education and testing-adjusting-balancing experience. Inaccurate or incomplete data may be detrimental to the applicant.
