Air Balancing
Water Balancing
Then my workshops are what you need!
Course Materials:
Comprehensive Workbook
Certificate of Participation
CEU
In-house workshops provide more individual attention to participants and the ability to customize the hours of training. The other major advantages are that I come to you, so you do not incur multiple travel expenses and extra days away from work, and you set the times of instruction. In-house training also allows the number of training hours to be increased or decreased based on needs.
Successful completion of a CTAB® workshop is preparation for the CTAB® exam to qualify for certification as a Certified Testing-Adjusting-Balancing Professional®.
After Workshop completion you may apply for CTAB® Certification*.
You will receive:
CTAB® Application
CTAB® Guidelines
CTAB® Exam Study Guide
CTAB® Exam Sample Questions
When ready:
Request a CTAB® Exam** date and complete the CTAB® Application.
Return Application via email or U. S. Mail. It can be submitted before or after the Exam.
*Certification is based on Application and scoring 70% or above on Exam
*Exam is open book, 100 questions with a 4-hour time limit. It is taken online (PC only, not available on Apple).
CTAB 101 - Air Balancing (16 Hours, 1.6 Continuing Education Units )
This practical “How to” workshop is designed to provide you with the knowledge, procedures, and techniques you will need to understand, evaluate, and balance the air and water sides of your HVAC system. I will show you ways to improve equipment performance, extend equipment life and conserve energy while increasing occupancy comfort. You will learn how to test and balance: Constant Volume Systems, Single Zone Systems, Multizone Systems, Dual Duct Systems, and Variable Air Volume Systems. Numerous case studies and examples will be used to illustrate specifics of balancing. Material covered is relevant to passing certification exams for test and balance, commissioning and energy management.
Course Outline:
